Application Deadlines
There are two application deadlines: December 1, 2007 and February 1, 2008. Applications received by December 1 will be reviewed for admission in December with acceptance notices sent before the end of the year. Those applications determined to be incomplete at the December deadline will be held for review in March.
Application Prerequisites
Undergraduate Degree. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited university in the United States or its equivalent abroad.
Statistics. The core curriculum is fairly quantitative; a foundation in statistics is essential. We want you to be prepared for the coursework you'll take at the Heinz School so we require at least one college-level course in one of this areas. If you did not take a statistics class in college, don't worry, you are still eligible for admission. If you did not take a statistics course in college, you will be invited to participate in the Quantitative Skills Summer Program (QSSP), a free six-week preparatory program in the summer prior to your enrollment at the Heinz School. There is another option: you can take that course on your own - at an accredited institution - prior to enrollment. Don't worry too much about the particulars. Once admitted, you will receive more detailed information about this requirement if it applies to you.
